Community Involvement

Marsh & McLennan Agency | Michigan believes in actively supporting our communities and, for a company our size, we make quite an impact! MMA Michigan encourages volunteerism and philanthropy among our employees and company leadership, supporting their efforts with an active Community Stewardship Program.

Paid Community Service Day

Often an organization needs “hands” as much as it needs funding. MMA Michigan provides an optional day of paid volunteer service to a non-profit organization of the employee’s choice. Employees can arrange this independently or take part in a company-wide initiative. MMA Michigan employees have helped refurbish a local charity’s residential facilities, served food at a soup kitchen, handed out water at a half-marathon, and walked as a team in local charity walks/runs.

Community Outreach

MMA Michigan coordinates employees and other volunteers to assist at community events such as annually staffing a water station during Oakland County’s Brooksie Way half-marathon.

Sponsoring and/or Supporting Charity Teams

MMA Michigan encourages employees to participate in charitable events including Relay for Life and the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. Employees can also earn Wellness Bucks for the physical activity involved in these events.
